Events Overview

The Trust, through the Events Committee, arranges an annual programme of visits to a wide variety of gardens, from historic country estates to newly created or developing gardens. We also organise coach tours each year to other Counties to view remarkable gardens.

We are fortunate in often being able to arrange visits to a number of gardens not normally open to the public. Wherever possible, we encourage the owners of these gardens to give their own personal commentary and insight into the creation and maintenance of their gardens.

Early each year, we issue members with the forthcoming programme, with full details of the times and charges together with a booking form so that they can plan which visits they wish to attend.

The Trust also organises annual lectures by speakers well known in their particular field.  These talks can cover virtually any aspect of gardens or historic landscapes.  Social events such as wine in a garden and lunches are also arranged for members and their guests to enjoy and share their knowledge, experience and enthusiasm.

Please note that many of these visits are strictly limited in terms of numbers – so it is essential to book ahead!
Tickets should be obtained in advance from:

Mrs Annette Seekings, Horton House, Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire BA15 1LN
Telephone: 01225 865042
